We invite you to study nutritional therapy and nutritional science with us at the 'Centre for Nutrition Education & Lifestyle Management’ (CNELM). Flexible study options are available. All nutrition undergraduate degree courses are designated as attendance and can be studied both full and part time. However 80% to 90% of nutrition courses are also accessible flexibly from home via our online video lecture facility enabling students from across the UK and abroad to study with us. Mandatory attendance requirements are consolidated in week blocks which makes it possible for those living at a distance to attend when necessary. CNELM is a collaborative partner of Middlesex University (MU) and all degree qualifications taught at CNELM are validated and awarded by MU. Whether you looking for one day public courses, coaching courses, foundation science access courses, short nutrition courses or fully validated undergraduate and postgraduate degree qualification then CNELM will have a course for you. To help students fund the courses both full and part time Student Finance options are available through CNELM for its undergraduate programmes. Eligibility to full time student loans and grants requires students to study via full time attendance which requires attendance to all lectures and tutorials over a 3 year period. All coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) courses require attendance. Coaching and NLP techniques are integrated into the undergraduate degree courses. All health professionals can apply to join our professional coaching courses.
We are the only private Centre in the UK delivering a nutritional therapy undergraduate degree course that is fully validated by a university. This enables us to ensure that every aspect of our course is designed to help you become the best possible nutritional therapy practitioner. This course has been running successfully for nine years. CNELM is an Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) accredited college. The accreditation applies to the BSc Hons Nutritional Therapy course. Upon qualification graduates can apply to register with the Complementary & Natural Health Care Council (CNHC). Our nutritional therapy undergraduate course is validated by Middlesex University (MU). Award Validated by: This course will closely emulate the nutritional therapy degree course but will lead to non-clinical outcomes. Opportunities will be available to take a postgraduate clinical training if practice is desired at a later stage. Many applicants over the years wish to join this sector of the nutrition industry but do not necessarily wish to practice. This course is designed to enable people to join the industry in a variety of ways: writing, teaching, research, community projects, technical support for companies. Internal Award given who complete level one of the nutritional therapy degree courses and will also be awarded to those completing level one of the nutritional science degree course. The certificate can be taken as a stand-alone qualification for already qualified health care professionals.
First science or health science degree holders can Fast Track relevant year one and two undergraduate modules and register for the third year of the degree. Fast Track modules are agreed at interview based on your prior learning.
Nutritional Therapy Foundation degree holders upon qualification can take a short bridging course and then register for the final year of the undergraduate degree.
Nutritional therapy diploma holders from courses facilitating registration in the UK with the Nutritional Therapy Council and BANT or equivalent international bodies can also apply to Fast Track to BSc.

Personalised healthcare is at the heart of functional medicine and is an emerging mainstream paradigm with particular relevance to pharmacogenomics. Nutrigenomics is central to functional medicine. This MSc brings together parallel insights from systems biology, complexity science and relevantly applied computational techniques to justify, in an evidence-based manner, a personalised approach for the design, implementation and justification of personalised nutrition plans for the prevention and management of chronic illness, healthy aging, longevity and competitive sport.
Course Participants: This innovative new course is designed for all bioscience graduates including doctors, pharmacists, dietitians, nutritionists, nutritional therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, sports scientists, psychologists and herbal practitioners. Science graduates including graduates of chemistry, engineering and computer science as well as nutrition diploma graduates may be required to complete a short bioscience course prior to entry. Nutrition diploma graduates with relevant experience may be considered for direct entry. All applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English. Applicants without a nutrition practice background can also apply to precede or follow the MSc with a Personalised Nutrition Practice Diploma. To find out more click here
Award Validated by: Most of our students joining the undergraduate courses need to complete Human Biology and/or Chemistry foundation courses. Our foundation courses are designed to meet the requirements of students gaining 'Access' to health science degree courses. Fast Track students may need to complete Foundation Courses depending on the science or health science degree course taken. It is rare for Fast Track students to need to complete both Foundation Courses. To find out more click here
This course is mainly designed for Fast Track students that require clnical training to enable professional registration upon qualification. Can also be taken as a Back to Practice refresher course.

The ‘ITEC level 3 Award' is aimed at complementary therapists who would like to add nutrition into their remit. This short course is also ideal for Complementary Therapists that want to find out if they want to pursue nutritional therapy as a career. To find out more click here
This course follows the same syllabus as the ITEC diploma and but is available to the general public who want to find out more about Nutrition and ways they can improve their own and families diet. The course does NOT lead to a practitioner certificate but students who want to go onto study the one of the BSc (hons) courses will be awarded cost reductions from level 1.
