Course Overview:
During this comprehensive course you will learn how to use models of communication and understand how these influence the experience and behaviour of your self and others, identify the different representational systems people use, help people establish well-formed outcomes and set goals, modify and change behaviour in a creative and flexible way to facilitate the best future outcomes and elicit a positive state in your self and others. You will also learn how to use anchoring techniques and help your self and others to access past resources and use them to support future goals. You will find out how to explain, examine and debate the essential presuppositions, ethics, beliefs and values of working as a change, facilitator and therapist. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate awareness and flexibility in behaviour, language, state and approach in order to optimise client support and motivation. You will also apply appropriate meta-cognition in order to evaluate your own performance in coaching.
